Beatrice is an operational 84 turbine offshore wind farm off the north east coast of Scotland

Located around 13km from Scotland’s Caithness coastline, Beatrice is one of Scotland’s largest and deepest fixed bottom offshore wind farms.

Operated and maintained from our base at Wick Harbour on the north east coast of Scotland, Beatrice has 84 wind turbines, capable of providing enough wind powered electricity for up to 450,000 homes.

With a capital expenditure of around £2.5bn, Beatrice was also one of the largest ever private investments in Scottish infrastructure and was delivered on time and under budget.
